The Weave General Workshop day was an opportunity to set some time aside to work together on the ‘Threads’ of the Weave and to pray together. In small groups, we discussed the Weave’s projects on the themes of Lectio Groups, Liturgy, Communications, how we can make the Weave more open to everyone and the work of the Weave in Scotland.
Frances Danaher, who worked on the Communications thread tells us, “I was actually quite dreading the workshop day; I was feeling tired and didn’t think I had the energy for another Zoom event, but starting the day off with Lauds and Lectio all together really helped me to refocus and gave me a lot more peace and motivation for the day. It was great to catch up with some people I hadn’t seen in a while and we had a very productive meeting about Communications. It was also really encouraging to hear about what the other groups had been working on and made me excited for the future work of the Weave!”
