We hope you are all keeping safe and well and looking after yourselves and others. We are all facing unprecedented times and we would like you to know that in this time of isolation, you are not alone. We are all united in one Spirit. So, we would like to share a motivation for this period with you and to invite you to join us for 'Stay at Home' Lectio!
Stay at Home Lectio will be happening Monday-Friday at 6pm via Google Meet. It is a chance for us to come together to share Lectio online; although we are in different places, we can be connected through modern technology and united in the eternal, unchanging Word of God. A brief motivation for this time of uncertainty Do not be afraid, for I am with you; do not be alarmed, for I am your God. I give you strength, truly I help you, truly I hold you firm with my saving right hand. (Is 41: 10) We know that we have come to an extremely special time for all of us wherever we are. Now, when we have lost the ability to control our lives, now is the time to abandon ourselves to the one who has the power to transform our lives with his all-encompassing love. Now, when we have the time to sit and make silence in our homes, now is the time to listen to his Word with an attentive heart in order to understand his perfect plan of salvation. Pour out your troubles to the Lord in prayer. The Spirit is at work more than ever. We leave you with these final words from the Apostle Paul; Never worry about anything; but tell God all your desires of every kind in prayer and petition shot through with gratitude, and the peace of God which is beyond our understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
